This is my brand new Lunar New Year Card. To celebrate the year of the rooster this proud little bird has found his way into the Forbidden City and gotten himself a comfortable seat. My inspiration for the design of the card is based on hand made wood block prints and posters from early in the Great Cultural Revolution.
